This project is a collaboration with the fashion design students from the Lisbon School of Design. The goal was to make a complete brand  Identity, from naming to brainstorming and all the other elements that compose a brand (Logo, typography, colors, stationery design, etc.)

The brand

LIGEA is a clothing brand that aims to bring the goth subculture to today’s fashion scene and make it more affordable. The brand's name was inspired by a short story by Edgar Allen, a writer well known in Goth literature.

The brand itself is defined by 3 key aspects: 1. Gothic, 2. feminine, and
3. elegant.

For the logo, I used a Blackletter typeface as a starting point and modified it to have a fresh and modern look, pulling inspiration from several gothic elements, such as architecture, graveyards, and bats.
